The KAIST Korean Language Program (Regular Course) is a structured Korean language program designed for international learners who want to study Korean. This program is open to anyone interested in learning Korean, regardless of their goals or background. It is designed to help students improve their overall Korean communication skills.
The course provides balanced training in all four language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Through this training, students can use Korean effectively in both daily life and academic settings.
In addition, students can experience life on the KAIST campus through classes and various activities. This allows them to naturally understand Korean university culture and environment.

The program runs in 3-month terms, with four terms each year. Each term includes a total of 200 hours of instruction. Classes are offered at six different levels, from Level 1 to Level 6, depending on the student’s proficiency. It usually takes about 1 year and 6 months to complete all levels. The goal of this program is to help students improve their Korean skills in a systematic way, communicate smoothly in Korean society, and achieve their personal goals.
