KAIST Language Center has developed an Online Korean Language Camp program for students to study the Korean language before starting studies at KAIST. International students admitted to the undergraduate program are required to complete the Korean language camp in order to take the mandatory Korean 3 course. Those who do not take part in this camp will be required to attend the in-person winter camp, which is expected to take place from December 22, 2025 to January 23, 2026.

◼ Korean language camp schedule

 - Period : Jul 14 – Aug 14, 2025

 - Lesson time : 1 PM – 6 PM (Korean time)

  * Lesson times may be adjusted depending on the participants’ locations.

 - Method : Real-time online lectures (using ZOOM)

◼ Camp registration

 - Target : International students being admitted to undergraduate studies at KAIST 

    in the Fall semester of 2025

 - Application period : May 7 (Mon) – 19 (Mon), 2025

 - Registration method : Online

 - Number of participants: 40 (First-come, first-servied basis)

   * Please note that a penalty will be applied if you fail to participate after 

     registering for the program. Therefore, those who have signed up are required 

     to attend.

 - Tuition fee : Free (fully funded by KAIST)

    * Please sign up on the Language Center website, and log in through the 

       "Non-KAIST Members login" for course registration, as you will be participating 

        in the Korean language camp before the start of the Fall semester.
