KAIST language center and NADA center is looking for mentors for English STEAM Camp. English STEAM Camp is an abbreviation of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics combined in English. By this convergence education program which does not lean to any single part, fusion thinking and creativity will be improved. <b>▶ Application period</b>: June 18, 2012 ~ midnight of June 28, 2012 <b>▶ How to apply</b>: send application form to star0131@kaist.ac.kr or to language center office (N4, 1104) <b>▶ Eligibility</b>: KAIST students who can speak both Korean and English (nationality does not matter) <b>▶ Number of mentors opening</b>: 8 <b>▶ Application form</b>: see the attached <b>▶ Camping period (closed on Sat/Sun)</b> 1st: August 6 ~ August 10 2nd: August 13 ~ August 17 (working on August 15 as well) <b>▶ Activities</b> - Conducting program and taking care of mentees - Number of mentees: 5 - Activity area: KAIST main campus and NADA center at Sintanjin - Pre-training: August 2 (Time will be announced later) <b>▶ Payment and other supports</b> - Payment: 1,200,000 won/1st+2nd - Other supports: meals and accommodation <b>▶ Recruitment schedule</b> - Application deadline: midnight of June 28 (Thu.) - Notice of the result of application and interview: July 2 (Mon) - Schedule of interview: July 9 (Mon) ~ 13 (Fri) - Notice of final result: July 16 (Mon) - Pre-training: August 2 (Thu) - Program starts: August 6 (Mon) <b>▶ Point of contact</b> - About English program: KAIST Language center (Tel. 8732, star0131@kaist.ac.kr) - About STEAM program: NADA center (Tel. 8449, midiline@kaist.ac.kr) - See the attached for more info and application form |
